Young Writer's Conference

Speakers - Lynn Floyd Wright, Dinah Johnson, Tim Davis, Kimberly Johnson, and Joann and Gerald Stoker. We are showcasing South Carolina authors.

Registration begins at 9:15 and the first session begins at 10:00 a.m.

Grade levels to be included - Grades three through eight. High school students will be encouraged to participate in other events.

Conference participants will be able to post their writing on a website.

Each district superintendent will be asked to name a district contact person who will receive all information about the conference, including the number of participants who are eligible to attend.

Be sure to encourage your school district to make this conference available to your elementary, middle, and high school students. If you would like to help with the conference, please contact a member who serves on the YWC Planning Committee.
